The Archive of the Foundation Miniscalchi-Erizzo Museum is made up of various archival collections belonging to illustrious families of Veronese (Moscardo, Morando, Giuliari-Franzoso), Vicentino (Poiana) and Veneziano (Erizzo) descent merged through marriage ties into the Miniscalchi archive over a period of time that goes from the 11th to the 19th century.
The documentary types identified are those typical of the archives of noble families: documents, either loose-leaf or in the form of a register, certifying titles, wills, divisions, successions and commissioners, dowries and special jurisdictions; dossiers of procedural documents and documents and printed matter; registers and documentation files of patrimonial interest of the Miniscalchi-Erizzo, Moscardo, Erizzo families; maps; private correspondence and correspondence of a literary, scientific and political nature of members of the Miniscalchi family with prominent exponents of the Veronese cultural and governmental scene; personal archives of some illustrious members of the Miniscalchi-Erizzo family.
Starting from the year 2019, thanks to the collaboration with the Archival and Bibliographic Superintendency of Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige and the contribution of the Veneto Region (Regional Law n.50 of 1984, art.42), the work of reorganizing, reconditioning and cataloguing of the various collections preserved in the historical archive of the Foundation has been carried out.
To date, it is possible to consult the analytical inventories of the Erizzo, Poiana and Moscardo collections, the catalogue of the cartographic collection and the census of the parchment collection in the SIAR Veneto Regional Archival Information System.
