Sacred art

The collection consists of a large number of works heterogeneous in origin, dating and use, otherwise merged into the Miniscalchi-Erizzo family over at least two centuries.

These are sacramental objects, such as the Agnus dei wax collection that belonged to Orazio Moscardo, the second son of the Veronese scholar Ludovico; of ivory or bronze plaques decorated with iconographic themes that recall the life of the saints or episodes taken from the sacred scriptures; a rare example of an altarpiece in amber and ivory; sacred fabrics and vestments; liturgical furnishings and ecclesiastical furnishings in use in the family home chapel.
